Heard Norman Greenbaum is going to perform in Santa Rosa for the victims of the fire around Cobb and Middle Town.
What looks to be a big deal of a music-and-comedy benefit to aid victims of the Valley fire is coming together for Nov. 15 at the Wells Fargo Center.
Norman Greenbaum, who’s doing vastly better after being badly hurt in March in a deadly road crash, will be there to perform his 1969 mega-hit, “Spirit in the Sky.”
Charlie Musselwhite, Guy Fieri, Will Durst, McKenna Faith, Diamond Rio and others also have signed on.
“Putting Out the Fire: A Thanksgiving for Middletown” came together when the Amaturo Sonoma Media Group and Bodega Bay residents Ron and Carolyn Kirk discovered they both were planning benefit shows for the same day.
They joined forces and now prepare for a blockbuster show that will start at 2 p.m. that Sunday. Stay tuned.
