Oh, man...I can't imagine what it must be like way up there on the east side of things. You guys can have the cold, we'll take the occasional shaker. The only worrisome thing about last night's quake is that it was on the Hayward fault. They've been telling us for several years now that that puppy is ready to let loose a big one any time.

Listening to Coast to Coast about the missing sub north of Hawaii. I think about the mid 70's. I knew a man on the Howard Hughes ship out of the delta in the east bay. He couldn't talk much about it.

Well, you guys. Got the fires , and now we get the ice/cold. Luckily Montreal didn’t get the storm right now, just the cold. So I stay inside w a nice cozy fireplace. :)

Looking on a map looks like the quake shake stopped around Healsburg.  we get no burn day  at record number this year.

Self sufficiency as far as you can take it, I reckon. I'd rather have my LED lanterns and crank radio, food stores and water drums than not.
