OMG Doc W...it has been a comedy of errors around here...
Had a big party planned for tomorrow, then our refrigerator died.
Come to find out two of our guests were ill, and one would have had to drive down for 3 hours in heavy rain...it was just not in the cards.

The biggest problem with refrigerators is a light bulb heater in the defrost in the freezer. This means a really cheap fix. Lucky stores sales dry ice if you have a ice chest.
Google the make or even a youtube sometimes shows the repair. It's a halogen light bulb that is near the fan on the freezer side.

THIS CAUSES GLOBAL WARMING IN BOTH SIDES FREEZER AND REFRIGERATOR. HOW THE DEFROST SYSTEM WORKS IS THE SAME AS MELTING GLACIERS. REMOVING THE TREES CHANGES OF AIR FLOW.
I have save ours for twenty years, seams like the heater fails every ten years.

Hey, Doc W...
Everything is great refrigerator wise, just dropped 1800 on a brand new Kenmore! It'll be a couple of weeks before delivery, so am living out of a couple of coolers and a mini fridge, but am stoked about getting this stainless steel beauty!
